Job Title: Accounting Manager

Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation is a leading manufacturer of generic drug products, OTC drug products, and medical devices. We are headquartered in West Columbia, South Carolina, and have a strong presence in the global market.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the accounting department, creating and analyzing financial statements and reports for the owner of the organization, and reviewing sales and inventory data for reporting to management.

The ideal candidate will have a regionally accredited BS in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 10 years of accounting experience. They will also have the ability to effectively manage themselves, demonstrate integrity, and be productive under pressure.

The Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO, CAO, Controller, and Director of Accounting to perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate sales and inventory data
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent

Requirements:

  • Regionally accredited BS in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience
  • Ability to effectively manage oneself and demonstrate integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
