Job Overview

The Telecom Compliance Specialist will ensure that all client facilities meet current NESC standards through auditing inspections and corrections performed by contractors. This role involves managing imminent danger Priority A condition violations, performing preliminary inspections, issuing corrections, auditing work, and reporting completed corrections. Additionally, the successful candidate will manage foreign-owned Pole Transfers (PT's), perform inspections, identify poles ready for transfer, refer non-compliant poles to engineering or other utilities, issue transfers, audit completion, and report transfers electronically.

Responsibilities
  • Audit all NESC inspections and corrections performed by contractors
  • Manage imminent danger Priority A condition violations
  • Perform preliminary inspections and issue corrections to approved contractors/engineers/arborists
  • Audit correction work or rework
  • Report completed corrections
  • Manage foreign-owned Pole Transfers (PT's)
  • Perform inspections and identify poles ready for transfer
  • Refer non-compliant poles to engineering or other utilities
  • Issue pole transfers to approved contractors
  • Audit completed transfers
  • Report transfers electronically
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Computer literacy, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a technical environment with detailed complex methods and procedures
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Mountain Ltd. offers competitive salaries and benefits packages to its employees. The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
