Role Overview

The HR Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of multi-site employee lifecycle management, including training, record-keeping, mentoring, retention, payroll, performance evaluations, and discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to support the professional development of employees through mentoring and performance feedback.
  • Orientations and Training: Oversee orientations, initial, ongoing, and annual training requirements for employees.
  • Workforce Optimization: Optimize the utilization of the workforce, ensuring high value for each position.
  • File Management: Ensure complete and accurate files for all employees.
  • Data Reconciliation: Reconcile/audit data, ensuring comprehensive documentation within HRIS system.
  • Employee Engagement: Provide outreach and regular touchpoints for employees, encouraging strong retention rates and relationship building/support.
  • HRIS Administration: Conduct HRIS administration and audits ensuring compliance, data integrity, and ongoing, accurate reporting.
  • Performance Improvement Plans: Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Employment Questions: Respond to employment questions and needs.
  • Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Claims: Assist in processing Worker's Compensation and Unemployment claims.
  • Verifications of Employment: Assist in Verifications of Employment - including EVV Reports.
  • Incident Reporting: Conduct investigations and/or disciplinary sessions. Manage and maintain the incident reporting platform. Process all incident reports, escalating as necessary for incident follow up and investigation.
  • Offboarding: Offboard employees for resignations and terminations.
  • Payroll Coordination: Coordinate employee payroll.
  • Annual Performance Reviews: Oversee administration of Annual Performance Reviews.
  • Background Checks: Ensure timely and complete background checks.

  • HIPAA Knowledge: Knowledge of best practices for handling PHI in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Administrative Specialty: Administrative specialty in related field - whether accounting, customer service, scheduling, billing, IT, project management, leadership, sales, marketing, business development, medical scheduling, staffing, care coordinator or coordination, recruiting, talent acquisition, compliance, office manager or management, business manager or management, human resources, or operations a bonus.
  • Experience in Assisted Living: Experience in assisted living, facility, nursing home, or in-home care a bonus.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
