Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our industry-leading client, a metal stamping manufacturer. The company focuses on high-precision and deep-drawn metal stamping, serving various industrial end markets. The Business Development Manager's primary goal will be to drive overall sales growth by pursuing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have commercial experience within a metal stamping manufacturer servicing the consumer electronics industry. They will be responsible for identifying target customers, determining production/service needs, and managing the quotations process with the plant from the customer RFQ, through quote generation. The Business Development Manager will also negotiate pricing with customers and maintain an active Business Development Plan in Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify target customers and determine production/service needs
  • Manage the quotations process with the plant from the customer RFQ, through quote generation
  • Negotiate pricing with customers
  • Maintain an active Business Development Plan in Salesforce
  • Coordinate regular meetings with customers to monitor the relationship with respect to quality, service, and business development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in a technical sales environment
  • Experience developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for highly engineered technical products
  • Broad knowledge of metal stamping practices and manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills necessary to deal with volatile, rapidly changing markets
