Automation Solutions Architect

Senior Automation Engineers are creative professionals who leverage innovation and stakeholder collaboration to deliver substantial business value. They spearhead automation initiatives characterized by significant interdependencies, scale, visibility, and complexity, while communicating across various channels, including ITG and Business Operations. Their responsibilities encompass designing and documenting desired solutions, developing automations in accordance with best practices and guidelines, and rigorously testing automations against approved plans. Senior Automation Engineers take ownership of their projects from inception through to the deployment of their solutions, including transitioning to the appropriate technical and user support teams. As recognized leaders, they are often sought to mentor and guide their peers.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Act as technical leaders within the company's automation community of practice
  • Guide development teams in executing larger programs
  • Implement enterprise-wide, cross-functional automation initiatives
  • Create automated tools/scripts according to specifications
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure clarity on assigned tasks.
  • Drive the development and implementation of automation deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough testing of developed products.
  • Ensure adherence to all standards and policies.
  • Establish standards for scripts and work products to facilitate updates/utilization by others.
  • Support the development of technical standards.
  • Prepare specifications of a highly technical or complex nature.
  • Analyze user specifications and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Engage in learning best practices and procedures.
  • Follow best practices for software design, retention, documentation, and deployment strategies.
  • Work directly with service operations, product, and vendor teams to resolve, prevent, and eliminate customer technology issues.
  • Gather and document business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements for in-scope products.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Actively manage the lifecycle of assigned applications and infrastructure.
  • May provide after-hours/on-call support for applications.
  • Possess the ability to resolve simple to complex production support issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $158,000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
