Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Windows Server Engineer to establish, enhance, and expand server computing solutions within private cloud environments. The goal is to align with our evolving business technology requirements, accelerate the delivery of new capabilities, and improve the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, with a preference for backgrounds in Global Financial Services, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all phases of engineering and implementing the Windows Server Platform lifecycle, focusing on design, security, automation, and scalability in line with industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Windows OS internals, including Group Policies, Windows Defender, and the Windows Networking stack.
  • Manage and support environments involving Server platforms (Windows 10 and Server 2019/2022+) and VDI (Citrix, RDS) solutions.
  • Implement automation, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis techniques.
  • Utilize Windows Systems Management and Patch management Technologies (MECM, Group Policy, and WSUS).
  • Possess extensive experience with scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VBS, SQL, and Windows Batch.
  • Support secure infrastructure solutions, particularly in DMZ environments.

Required Skills:

  • Seven or more years of enterprise-level experience in engineering, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Windows Servers.
  • Familiarity with Windows 2025 is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with public cloud environments (AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET, and/or Java programming.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and manage external vendors.
  • Understanding of Linux, Middleware, Networks, Storage, and Email systems.
  • Expertise in desktop design/build security standards and PXE boot processes.
  • Experience deploying to virtual and physical devices using PXE.
  • Familiarity with Terraform and Cisco ISE is a plus.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for desired state management and application integration.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular use of hands and fingers for operating a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools.
  • Capability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, including prolonged periods of screen time.
