About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed ASL Clinician to join our team at the Mental Health Center of Denver. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide unique direct clinical care for Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic mental health assessments and individual, family, play, couple, and/or group psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention and case management.
  • Develop treatment plans, monitor treatment progress, and follow-up as clinically indicated.
  • Facilitate the coordination of medication needs of individuals served with psychiatric, case management, and medical resources.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of individuals and families.
  • Deliver services over both telehealth video platforms and in-person settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with agency standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in social work or doctorate in psychology.
  • Current license as a LCSW or Licensed Psychologist in the State of Colorado or imminent licensure eligibility.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing individual, family, and/or group therapy, with experience providing clinical behavioral health services to deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind children and adults.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic best practices for Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing persons, as well as community resources.
  • Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.
  • Familiarity with the DSM-5-TR and diagnostic techniques.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
