Position Overview:
As a Server Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Setting tables with clean linens and silverware.
  • Clearing soiled dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables after guests have finished.
  • Providing additional place settings or condiments as needed.
  • Assisting in the removal of trash and waste from the premises.
  • Helping maintain cleanliness in side stations, floors, furniture, and restrooms.
  • Ensuring chairs and booths are free of crumbs and debris.
  • Checking under tables and sweeping up any litter as necessary.
  • Maintaining a tidy work environment by consistently picking up litter.
  • Assisting the dishwasher with sorting dirty dishware.
  • Practicing safe and sanitary food handling at all times.
  • Completing assigned cleaning tasks on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Supporting fellow team members and management as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Experience working with cleaning chemicals and ware washing.
  • Ability to perform all necessary cleaning and sanitation tasks.
  • Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adherence to sanitation policies and personal hygiene standards.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable navigating potentially slick surfaces in the kitchen.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
