Job Summary

The Bartolotta Restaurants is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Space Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of our restaurants, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the restaurant is "guest ready" in all public areas, including supplies being stocked, areas organized, tidy, safe, and hygienic.
  • Assist with the unloading of deliveries and accurately put away food orders, ensuring stock is rotated in all storage areas.
  • Demonstrate sanitation and food safety practices regularly and consistently.
  • Ensure the restaurant is always safe and secure.
  • Maintain the appearance of the exterior of the building, including landscaping, snow removal, signage, tables, and chairs.
  • Maintain the interior of the building, including all floors, walls, light fixtures, signage, waste receptacles, and tables and chairs.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines at all times and look out for the safety of our customers, vendors, and other team members.
  • Maintain a basic working knowledge of all equipment in the restaurant.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly.
  • Dress according to Uniform policy, including following personal hygiene guidelines.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by helping others when they need it without having to be asked.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Pleasant and accommodating personality with continuous and outgoing demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach and clean with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting is required (up to 50 pounds).
