Radiologic Imaging Specialist

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, you will be integral in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Key Qualifications:
  • Must have graduated from an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology is mandatory.
  • Current New Mexico State Licensure in Radiologic Technology is required.
  • BLS certification is essential.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are advantageous.
Position Overview:
  • Conducts radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist, ensuring appropriate technical execution.
  • Engages in various technical tasks that necessitate independent judgment, creativity, and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
  • Takes responsibility for specific areas or procedures as needed, including specialized fields such as X-ray Radiology.
  • Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Ability to follow directives and perform tasks in accordance with departmental standards is essential.
  • The technologist is expected to demonstrate initiative, critical thinking, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Emotional maturity and the capacity to perform under pressure are crucial.
