The CT Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires a graduate from an accredited AMA institution and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
Key Responsibilities- Provide essential diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the supervision of a Radiologist, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including but not limited to basic radiographic techniques, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, C-arm operations, and surgical imaging services.
- Exhibit expertise in routine diagnostic CT scanning, covering areas such as the head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities, as well as conducting biopsy and drainage procedures.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of CT system processing, surgical protocols, and the use of contrast media, alongside a solid grasp of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- State-licensed as a general radiographer.
- Proficient in routine diagnostic CT scanning techniques.
- Monday to Thursday
- On-call duties required, averaging 5 days per month.
- Focus on General X-Ray and CT imaging.
- Assistance with General X-Ray procedures may be required as needed.
