Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls from healthcare providers and identify the type of assistance they need.
- Resolve issues on the first call by navigating complex computer systems and providing appropriate responses.
- Deliver information and answer questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff.
- Complete documentation to track provider issues and facilitate reporting of overall trends.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6+ months of experience in a customer service/healthcare related environment using phones and computers as primary job tools
- Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional overtime or weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a related environment using phones and computers as primary job tools
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within commutable distance of 9 Technology Drive, Irvine CA, 92618
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
