  • Answer incoming phone calls from healthcare providers and identify the type of assistance they need.
  • Resolve issues on the first call by navigating complex computer systems and providing appropriate responses.

  • Complete documentation to track provider issues and facilitate reporting of overall trends.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6+ months of experience in a customer service/healthcare related environment using phones and computers as primary job tools
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to work normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a related environment using phones and computers as primary job tools

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within commutable distance of 9 Technology Drive, Irvine CA, 92618
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
