We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing to become a vital part of our exceptional team. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

The Director of Product Marketing will be tasked with shaping and sustaining all facets of Session AI's positioning and messaging. Our goal is to ensure that potential buyers of Session AI technology fully grasp its value, foster positive perceptions, and feel compelled to prioritize our solutions for their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to craft impactful positioning and messaging for Session AI's in-session marketing.
  • Create compelling sales and marketing materials, including presentations, data sheets, briefings, scripts, and thought leadership content for the Session AI platform.
  • Partner with product and delivery teams to outline regular product launches and releases, providing necessary content and presentations.
  • Oversee the production of multimedia content, such as videos, audio, and infographics, in collaboration with external vendors.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and present findings to internal sales and marketing teams.
  • Lead sales and industry research initiatives, including win-loss assessments, persona research, and sales insights.
  • Develop customer-facing materials, including use cases, case studies, and live or virtual presentations.
  • Support various demand generation, event, partner, and product initiatives as required.
  • Mentor and manage a team of product marketing managers over time.
  • Occasional domestic travel for team meetings, company conferences, customer engagements, and industry events.
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance the production of deliverables.

Qualifications:

Preferred Background:

  • 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in B2B enterprise software in roles such as marketing, product marketing, delivery, sales development, or support.
  • Proven experience in product marketing or product management.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related technical or scientific field.
  • An MBA or a Master's degree in a technical discipline is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A demonstrated sense of project ownership, urgency, and successful execution.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capacity to lead with influence across all organizational levels, from executive leadership to customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Experience in ecommerce, account-based marketing, enterprise sales, and AI is preferred.

This hybrid role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, requiring candidates to work in-person from the Session AI headquarters a minimum of two days each week.

The salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $200,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and level. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual bonus, participation in the Session AI equity program, and benefits.
