Position Overview

We are in search of a Director of Product Marketing to become an integral part of our exceptional team. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

The Director of Product Marketing will oversee the development and management of all facets of Session AI's positioning and messaging. Our goal is to ensure that potential buyers of Session AI technology fully grasp the value it offers, cultivate positive perceptions, and feel compelled to prioritize our solutions for their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to craft compelling positioning and messaging for Session AI's in-session marketing solutions.
  • Create impactful sales and marketing materials, including presentations, data sheets, briefings, scripts, and thought leadership content for the Session AI platform.
  • Partner with product and delivery teams to define and execute regular product launches and releases, along with the associated content and presentations.
  • Oversee the production of multimedia content, such as videos, audio recordings, and infographics, in collaboration with external vendors.
  • Conduct thorough competitive analysis and present findings to internal sales and marketing teams.
  • Manage research initiatives related to sales and industry trends, including win-loss analysis, persona research, and sales insights.
  • Develop customer-facing materials, including use cases, case studies, and live or virtual presentations.
  • Support various demand generation, event, partner, and product initiatives as required.
  • Mentor and manage a team of product marketing managers as the team grows.
  • Engage in minimal domestic travel for team meetings, company conferences, customer engagements, and other industry events.
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance the production of deliverables.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in B2B enterprise software within roles such as marketing, product marketing, delivery, sales development, or support.
  • Proven experience in product marketing or product management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related technical or scientific field.
  • An MBA or Master's degree in a technical discipline is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, execute with urgency, and deliver results.
  • Capacity to work independently while managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to influence and lead across all organizational levels, from executive leadership to customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Prior experience in ecommerce, account-based marketing, enterprise sales, and AI is preferred.

This hybrid role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, requiring candidates to work in-person at the Session AI headquarters a minimum of two days per week.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $180,000 to $200,000 annually, with final offers determined by factors such as experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual bonus, participation in the Session AI equity program, and comprehensive benefits.
