Position Summary:
We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Financial Administrator. The successful candidate will oversee the financial operations associated with our property portfolio, ensuring precise and timely financial reporting. This role demands a high level of professionalism, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the fiscal health of our properties.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and sustain accurate financial documents, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for designated properties.
    • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures, ensuring timely financial disclosures.
  2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice management, tenant billing, and rent collection.
    • Reconcile bank statements, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in formulating annual budgets and forecasts for the properties.
    • Monitor budget variances and collaborate with property managers to ensure compliance with financial plans.
  4. Lease Administration:
    • Analyze and interpret lease agreements to guarantee appropriate financial treatment.
  5. Compliance and Audit:
    • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
    • Prepare necessary documentation and assist with external audits as needed.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Engage closely with property managers, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support operational decisions.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with tenants regarding financial issues.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of 1.5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in property management or real estate.
  • Strong proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • High attention to detail and capability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
