New Business Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Sales Representative to join our team at Lamar Media. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers, with a focus on generating new business from accounts that have never billed with Lamar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell and actively close advertising sales to previous customers or new prospects
- Handle entire sales process from lead generation to close, reaching or exceeding monthly sales quotas
- Identify potential growth areas, open new accounts, and increase Lamar's market share by selling all products - Billboards and Transit
- Actively pursue networking and business-building relationships and opportunities
- Perform clerical duties, including generating proposals, sales contracts, production orders, and artwork
- Track activity, prepare, and maintain records for sales leads and account status
- Make outbound sales calls to secure sales and schedule appointments
- Prepare sales presentations and proposals
- Provide product, promotion, and pricing information to customers
- Maintain customer database or CRM by inputting customer profile and updates
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year telephone sales experience
- Minimum of 1 year office experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years telephone sales experience
- Experience in a sales or marketing-based environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

- A first-year earning potential of $30,000 - $65,000 / year dependent on relevant experience and qualifications
