POSITION OVERVIEW
The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in upholding our commitment to exceptional service. This position is responsible for managing daily HR operations and supporting the entire employee lifecycle. Collaborating closely with the Regional Director of Human Resources, the HR Generalist will implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and drive organizational success. Key responsibilities include high-volume recruitment, training, performance management, onboarding, and employee relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with management to ensure effective implementation of HR strategies and practices.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained for operational success.
  • Provide constructive coaching and feedback to employees at all levels, addressing various workplace issues.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and regulations to employees and management.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee engagement and turnover data, providing insights to the Regional HR Director.
  • Support HR functions during events and non-event days as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental and labor reporting requirements.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations into policy violations and addressing employee concerns.
  • Support the processing of workers' compensation claims, leaves of absence, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and facilitate talent development initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in operational knowledge relevant to HR business partnership.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and leadership in HR-related decision-making.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle process within the assigned region.
QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including workplace safety and employee rights.
  • Proficient in HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships across various functions and communities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to influence and gain trust with employees and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service with demonstrated initiative and leadership.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Experience in a matrix leadership environment is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands of this role require the ability to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate controls.
