Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success in the cryogenic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
- Lead the sales team to maximize sales potential, craft sales plans, and justify those plans to upper management.
- Interact with world-leading experts in cryogenic engineering and offer product solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategy, monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals.
- Work with the international distribution team to meet individual quota, forecast sales, and run sales reports.
- Provide mentorship and training, recruit, hire, and onboard new salespeople.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
- Improve the sales processes, methods, and approaches to maximize revenue growth.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, provide short-term and long-term bookings forecast.
- Set goals and ensure sales teams are enabled to achieve the goals.
- Identify new markets and potential opportunities.
To be successful in this role, the Sales Manager will need to have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related engineering discipline.
- Master's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related engineering discipline preferred.
- 8+ years of related sales and/or sales management experience.
- 5+ years working with high-tech products.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and knowledge:
- Knowledge of the cryogenic industry and products.
- Knowledge of competitive products and markets.
- Ability to communicate effective solutions to scientific audiences.
- Knowledge of contracts and negotiation.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Understanding and experience working with CRM.
The Sales Manager will be required to:
- Domestic and international travel.
- Flexible work schedule, early/late phone calls due to international time differences.
