Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success in the cryogenic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
  • Lead the sales team to maximize sales potential, craft sales plans, and justify those plans to upper management.
  • Interact with world-leading experts in cryogenic engineering and offer product solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategy, monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals.
  • Work with the international distribution team to meet individual quota, forecast sales, and run sales reports.
  • Provide mentorship and training, recruit, hire, and onboard new salespeople.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
  • Improve the sales processes, methods, and approaches to maximize revenue growth.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, provide short-term and long-term bookings forecast.
  • Set goals and ensure sales teams are enabled to achieve the goals.
  • Identify new markets and potential opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Sales Manager will need to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related engineering discipline.
  • Master's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related engineering discipline preferred.
  • 8+ years of related sales and/or sales management experience.
  • 5+ years working with high-tech products.
Competencies and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the cryogenic industry and products.
  • Knowledge of competitive products and markets.
  • Ability to communicate effective solutions to scientific audiences.
  • Knowledge of contracts and negotiation.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Understanding and experience working with CRM.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The Sales Manager will be required to:

  • Domestic and international travel.
  • Flexible work schedule, early/late phone calls due to international time differences.
