About the Role

Burlington Stores is seeking a highly skilled Telecom Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading and performing complex work related to network and telecommunications operations, installation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform work that is highly complex and varied in nature relating to network/telecom operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local, off-site and/or remote locations.
  • Develop integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues and be a recognized expert internally and externally, often providing strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services.
  • Work with Leadership, Networking staff, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical engineering oversight and support of network/telecommunications environment. Manage direction, schedules, and budgets of engineering projects.
  • Coordinate telecom related work assignments and schedules for the purpose of minimizing disruption of services and/or inconvenience.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, vendors and internal teams; provides reports, complete requests for new services, and determines methodology for providing new telecom service.
  • Repair/maintain/diagnosis telecommunication systems and equipment, and a variety of other electronic equipment and systems (e.g., Telecommunications systems Cisco CM, public address systems, patches and upgrades etc.).
  • Monitor assigned servers, systems and applications for the purpose of ensuring continuity of service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large corporate phone system and adjuncts (e.g., call account, paging, conference bridge, etc.).
  • Ability to lead projects, provide guidance and mentor junior team members.
  • Experience with Cisco VoIP and Call Manager.
  • Understanding of station and house cabling w/low voltage wiring.
  • Knowledge of Carrier Services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams telephony features.
  • Expected to be available for rotational on-call.
  • Limited travel: Should have the ability to travel to various facilities if needed.
