Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Mygrant Glass Company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in leading our staff in Lanham, MD.

Job Summary

The Assistant Branch Manager will assist the Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, and inventory management. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Branch Manager in leading the branch team and achieving sales goals
  • Oversee sales, customer service, and inventory management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve branch performance and customer satisfaction
  • Manage fleet maintenance and ensure compliance with safety procedures
  • Recruit, train, and develop branch staff
  • Manage account receivable and account payable
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of branch performance
Requirements
  • 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Strong operations and sales background
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet sales goals
  • Strong inventory control and scheduling skills
  • Experience with material handling equipment
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen
