About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at mid-sized businesses and enterprises
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions and support to customers
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in a related field, or a BS/BA degree in a related discipline with 4 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A successful track record meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Proficiency using Windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office, and a CRM tool
Preferred Qualifications
  • Successful experience with B2B outside sales with quotas
  • Telecommunications, technology, or cloud sales experience
  • Field sales, pipeline development, new lead generation, and prospecting experience
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $61,000 - $92,000
  • An annual incentive/commission target of $72,000
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off
