Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal representation to clients throughout bankruptcy proceedings, encompassing both individuals and businesses.
  • Draft and negotiate corporate and restructuring agreements to safeguard client interests.
  • Advise clients on the legal facets of bankruptcy, including the filing process, various bankruptcy types, and their potential implications.
  • Represent both debtors and creditors, ensuring their rights and interests are upheld during the bankruptcy process.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues to inform case strategies.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients.
  • Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in bankruptcy litigation.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Admission to the Texas Bar.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a bankruptcy attorney.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating corporate and restructuring agreements.
  • Demonstrated capability to represent both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy matters.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably for clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
