- Execute, review, process, and track legal documentation, execute transactions, and complete varied work requests from multiple sources that may be complex in character and have tight deadlines.
- Prepare reports and conduct administrative legal work; may contribute to the processing of billing and/or legal settlements and/or court filings and subpoenas.
- Maintain detailed records, create, prepare, and process legal documentation under the direction of general counsel.
- May be responsible for legislative/regulatory tracking and distribution of tracking results to legal and business colleagues.
- Work closely with teams manager and legal peers to complete tasks assigned; scheduling, data entry, executing transactions, research, communications, classification/routing of documentation, assisting on investigations.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of legal customs and practices preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry.
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
