Paralegal Litigation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal Litigation Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Law Firm of Higbee & Associates. As a key member of our litigation team, you will play a critical role in managing complex cases across various states and jurisdictions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the intake process for new litigation cases, ensuring timely and efficient communication with clients and attorneys.
  • Review and analyze legal documents to identify key information and provide recommendations to attorneys.
  • Compile and maintain accurate financial and hardship information for clients, working closely with vendors and network attorneys.
  • Update and maintain shared calendars to ensure important filing deadlines and hearings are met.
  • Provide exceptional communication and support to network attorneys, vendors, and clients, ensuring seamless case management.
  • Confirm attorney coverage for hearings and submit responsive pleadings to the courthouse in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular case and settlement updates to vendors and clients, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Monitor online case dockets and incoming communications for hearing notices, staying up-to-date on all new events relating to active litigation cases.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven ability to multitask and manage high-volume task lists with precision and accuracy.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience handling a high volume of cases, preferably with state litigation and multiple states at once.
  • Experience with creditor/debtor cases is a plus, but not required.
