Position Overview:

The REMOTE Customer Support Specialist plays a crucial role in managing all incoming support inquiries for Vision Innovation Partners Support Center, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our valued patients.

This position is entirely REMOTE. Candidates must reside in specific states to be eligible for consideration: PA, MD, VA, DC, DE, FL, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently respond to incoming calls while maintaining the highest quality of service.
  • Manage inbound inquiries with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide courteous and patient responses to general patient questions.
  • Confirm, schedule, and adjust appointments as needed.
  • Follow up with patients regarding their scheduled appointments.
  • Update and maintain patient demographic information.
  • Collect and verify insurance details.
  • Make outbound calls to patients and clinics.
  • Address online appointment requests.
  • Respond to email inquiries.
  • Relay messages to clinics as necessary.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with accuracy in data entry and scheduling systems (EMR/EHR).
  • Bi-lingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Maintain a professional and confidential work ethic, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple inbound calls in a dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in multitasking and navigating various systems simultaneously.
  • Exhibit a positive and cheerful demeanor.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and excellent time management skills.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate courteously with other departments to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Perform various administrative duties and other projects as assigned.

Work Schedule:

ALL SHIFTS ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

The shifts available are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates should possess a pleasant speaking voice, professional demeanor, strong computer skills, reliable internet access, and a quiet workspace suitable for remote work.

Company-provided equipment will be supplied to employees.
