Role Overview: As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in expanding our fan base and corporate partnerships by generating new ticketing revenue. This position emphasizes collaboration and competition, focusing on the sale of Memberships (Full and Half Season) as well as tailored group and VIP packages. You will receive ongoing training and coaching to refine your sales techniques while engaging with the community to build your client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with fans and clients.
- Promote and sell a comprehensive range of ticket products, including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and customized hospitality options.
- Participate in various soccer and community events to enhance in-person selling skills and promote our organization.
- Conduct proactive outreach to potential clients through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Identify new business opportunities through upselling and referrals.
- Reconnect with past clients to stimulate new ticket sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service by following up with clients to foster repeat business.
- Manage incoming sales inquiries effectively.
- Conduct both digital and in-person meetings with prospective clients.
- Engage in grassroots marketing efforts at community events to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
- Represent Metro EDGE at home games and various events to support sales initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, sports management, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated individuals with a desire to build a long-term career in the sports industry.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
