Job Summary

The Community Experience Manager is a key role at G. L. Homes, responsible for creating and executing engaging community events and festivals, as well as overseeing marketing and communications systems. This position requires a strong ability to build relationships, influence others, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, direct, control, coordinate, and supervise the various components of successful events, including festivals, green markets, music events, themed events, art shows, and parties.
  • Marketing and Communications: Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote community events and amenities, including the Riverland website, APP, and social media channels.
  • Resident Engagement: Build relationships with residents, clubs, and community groups to understand their needs and preferences, and develop programs and events to meet those needs.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Compile and report budgets and financial data for events, and make recommendations for future events and programs.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support for the Riverland Wellness & Fitness Center, Riverland Sports & Racquet Club, and Riverland Arts & Culture Center, including understanding their operations and ensuring that Riverland program expectations and standards are met.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly reports on key activities, updates, and resident participation, and conduct periodic surveys to assess resident satisfaction and feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in hotel or hospitality management, art, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience planning and executing group activities in a high-energy environment.
  • Skills: Ability to build rapport quickly, influence others, and drive results; good judgment and decision-making abilities; strong technological skills and understanding of systems; excellent communication skills; and customer service skills.
