Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Fort Pierce, FL

Burlington Capital Properties is currently seeking candidates for the role of Maintenance Supervisor at our Fort Pierce property. We are committed to providing exceptional living conditions for our residents, and we are looking for individuals who excel in leadership, maintenance, repairs, and customer service.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality of the property. We value supervisors who recognize their impact on the success of the property and the satisfaction of our residents.

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating on-call requirement for emergency maintenance during weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct standard maintenance tasks, including painting and appliance repairs.
  • Diagnose and execute repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, and carpentry.
  • Supervise contractors and vendors performing work on the property.
  • Be available for on-call maintenance duties.
  • Manage expenses to align with budgetary constraints.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
  • Engage in resident events and activities as directed by the property manager.
  • Adhere to all safety and liability protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of essential maintenance requirements, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in maintenance within the multi-family housing sector is required.
  • HVAC Certification is mandatory.
  • CPO certification is required.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is essential.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Positive interaction with residents, staff, vendors, and the public is crucial.
