Job Title: Medical Office Coordinator

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Total Care Therapy. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to our therapists, patients, and families.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in medical terminology, clerical duties, and communication. You will work closely with our office staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, utilizing your time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong professional communication and phone skills, with experience in a medical office setting. Knowledge of Google Suites is also required, as you will be working with various forms and spreadsheets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Receiving and uploading referrals
  • Communicating with therapists, patients, families, and medical professionals
  • Answering inbound phone calls and placing outgoing calls to doctor's offices
  • Preparing, receiving, and distributing faxes
  • Preparing letters, memos, and other documents as needed
  • Uploading signed documents
  • Answering email messages and forwarding incoming messages to the appropriate person
  • Updating spreadsheets

 

Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
