Banfield Pet Hospital is a leading provider of pet healthcare services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care and compassion to our furry friends. As a Client Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of clients and pets through our hospital, while providing top-notch customer service and support to our veterinary medical team.
Job Summary
This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for greeting clients, checking them in, and preparing their pets for examination by our veterinarians. Your goal will be to provide an exceptional client experience, from initial contact to checkout.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and check them in efficiently
- Prepare pets for examination by our veterinarians, including weighing, measuring, and recording vital signs
- Collect payment from clients and process transactions accurately
- Provide information about Banfield's services and products, as well as answer any questions clients may have
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow up with clients as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical background or experience in a related field a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions
