APPS Paramedical Services is a leading provider of insurance physicals nationwide, with a strong presence in the United States. As a Medical Professional - Insurance Exam Technician, you will play a crucial role in helping us complete exams for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products.
About the JobThis is a unique opportunity to work independently as an independent contractor (IC) with APPS Paramedical Services. You will be responsible for conducting quality exams on a mobile basis in clients' homes or offices, which may involve blood draws, medical histories, vital signs, and other procedures. We offer flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your own schedule and work at times that suit you best.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct quality exams in clients' homes or offices
- Collect and record vital signs and medical histories
- Perform blood draws and other medical procedures as required
- Use tablets and EKG machines to collect exam data
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in phlebotomy, with familiarity with taking vital signs
- Familiarity with tablets and computers, including scanners
- Preferred experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients, as well as home health
- EKG experience is preferred but not required
As an IC with APPS Paramedical Services, you will enjoy:

- 6-hour orientation program to verify skills and show paperwork and website used by ICs
- Equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges for rent or purchase
