About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly qualified Middle School Technology Teacher to join our team at Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio. As a Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a superior education for all students in the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement non-instructional activities
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and growth
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and implement school-approved curricula
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

  • Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Experience working in an urban environment and with students of varying ages
