Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist Role

About the Job:
This Behavioral Health Specialist position at Children's Services of Roxbury offers an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality mental health services to economically disadvantaged children, youth, families, and individuals. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services team, you will be responsible for performing assessments, formulating clinical diagnoses, and providing individual, family, and group counseling sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care, to individuals, groups, and families
- Collaborate with other agencies, family members, and relevant parties involved in the client's care
- Participate in interdisciplinary clinical team meetings to discuss treatment plans and client progress
- Referral of clients to specialists or other institutions for non-psychological treatment when necessary

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in providing behavioral health services to youth, adults, and families
- Certification in the Massachusetts CBHI CANS preferred
- Valid driver's license without restrictions and reliable transportation required
