Job Title: Lead Maintenance Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Worker to oversee the maintenance and repair of the city's streets, parks, facilities, and water systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance workers, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the city's infrastructure and facilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance work is coordinated and completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance workers to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in accordance with city policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and repair work, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid CDL required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
