ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Specialist will primarily assist the Marketing team in implementing the overarching marketing strategy for our venues. This role entails managing content across various social media platforms, articulating the company's voice to engage followers, and expanding our audience base. The Marketing Specialist will contribute to the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives aimed at fostering relationships that enhance the company's visibility and clientele. This position is based in our office and requires travel to venue locations as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience creatively.
- Assist in managing projects related to content creation.
- Create and update event pages on social media platforms.
- Oversee marketing activations within venues.
- Establish and nurture community outreach initiatives with local businesses and organizations.
- Support the distribution of email newsletters and automated communication tools.
- Introduce innovative marketing strategies and platforms to maintain a competitive edge.
- Coordinate and onboard third-party promoters and affiliate networks.
- Recruit, train, and onboard team members as needed.
- Manage social media engagement initiatives.
- Distribute marketing materials to staff, promoters, and artist teams.
- Undertake additional projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing or the music industry.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Active user of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with social media advertising tools and analytics is preferred.
- Familiarity with popular electronic music artists and DJs.
- Passion for the entertainment industry.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in high-energy environments with elevated noise levels.
- Willingness to adapt to varying temperature conditions at venues.
- Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
