Position Overview

As a Field Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling conveyor belting and industrial rubber solutions. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting outreach through cold calls to generate leads and expand the customer base.
  • Traveling within the designated territory to engage with both new and existing clients.
  • Showcasing product expertise using samples and catalogs to meet customer needs.
  • Assessing customer equipment and product requirements through detailed surveys.
  • Providing accurate pricing quotes and preparing sales agreements for clients.
  • Collaborating with inside sales representatives and support staff to ensure up-to-date account management.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with purchasing contacts to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Ensuring timely submission of necessary information for national account reporting.
  • Estimating delivery dates for customers and addressing any delivery-related issues.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy materials, particularly during initial training.
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer focus.
  • Agility in learning and adapting to new challenges.
  • Commitment to delivering on promises and driving innovation.
  • Proficient in building collaborative relationships.
