Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and conduct business operations of WIND, including reviewing business practices, policies, and procedures for efficiency and compliance with applicable rules.
  • Act as liaison to other departments, campus administration, and outside agencies/organizations.
  • Develop and implement budget and cost accounting for project awards, and make recommendations regarding account expenditures to principal investigators.
  • Supervise accounting and related personnel functions, and counsel staff and clients regarding policy, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide independent guidance and oversight to faculty, staff, and administration in the development and preparation of proposals, contracts, and agreements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2 years work-related experience, with a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
  • Desirable qualifications include 4 years work-related experience, especially in organizational procedures and providing supervision to staff and/or student workers, and experience with fiscal management of grants.
