Position Overview

Torch Technologies is in search of a SharePoint Software Development Engineer to contribute to a team supporting critical operations. The role involves working closely with military personnel to enhance electronic warfare capabilities. The mission is to develop and validate mission data aimed at countering enemy radar and missile systems, thereby improving the survivability of aircrew and aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide expert advice and support by leveraging specialized knowledge in various activities, including monitoring, assessing, and analyzing processes and data for military and civilian personnel. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in Agile Development Methodology, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Dataverse. Responsibilities may include:

  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective, user-friendly solutions that meet budgetary and operational needs.
  • Creating custom forms and lists within SharePoint 2019 and Power Apps across different cloud environments.
  • Developing SharePoint Lists to facilitate business applications in various cloud settings.
  • Implementing workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes.
  • Designing Canvas Apps in Power Apps to enhance functionality.
  • Generating Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insightful data analysis.
  • Collaborating with SharePoint developers and analysts to foster knowledge sharing and team training.
  • Providing project status updates to leadership and clients during meetings.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security clearance is essential. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and demonstrate strong analytical skills, research capabilities, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. A solid understanding of computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required.
