Position Overview:

Torch Technologies is in search of a SharePoint Software Development Engineer to contribute to a team supporting the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW). This unit serves as the technical authority for all electronic warfare (EW) support for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The primary mission involves the development and testing of mission data (MD) aimed at countering enemy radar and infrared-guided missile systems, thereby enhancing the survivability of aircrew and aircraft in combat scenarios. This includes operational EW testing, MD development, validation, verification, and facilitating foreign material exploitation.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide expertise and support in various activities, including monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data for both civilian and military personnel within the 350 SWW. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in Agile Development Methodology, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Dataverse. Specific duties may include:

  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective, user-friendly solutions that meet budgetary and project needs.
  • Creating custom forms and lists in SharePoint 2019 and Power Apps across both DoD 365 and GCC High 365 cloud environments.
  • Establishing SharePoint Lists in both DoD 365 and GCC-High 365 cloud environments to facilitate business applications.
  • Developing workflows in Power Automate within both DoD 365 and GCC-High 365 cloud environments.
  • Creating Canvas Apps in Power Apps across both DoD 365 and GCC-High 365 cloud environments.
  • Generating Power BI dashboards and reports in both DoD 365 and GCC-High 365 cloud environments.
  • Working collaboratively with SharePoint developers and analysts to enhance solutions and contribute to team training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Providing project status updates during meetings with leadership and clients.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. The contractor must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to identify and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize findings, and make informed recommendations. A solid understanding of computer systems, Windows-based personal computers, and Microsoft Office software is essential, along with effective oral and written communication skills.
