HOW A SHAREPOINT CONTENT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:


Design, develop, and coordinate the implementation and support of SharePoint environments, including conducting testing and quality assurance of SharePoint applications, workflows, and integration services.

Establish standards and best practices for developing SharePoint and Office 365 applications.


Document and implement policies and guidelines for SharePoint usage, integrating relevant elements into system design.

Create and develop sites, pages, lists, views, and functionalities for the organization's Intranet and other SharePoint sites.

Guide end-users, division representatives, and management in understanding and documenting functional business requirements and workflows. Propose enhancements utilizing SharePoint technologies to address daily challenges.

Formulate plans to transition existing electronic data and business processes to SharePoint.


Assist in the creation of new applications and dashboard solutions for the Intranet and other SharePoint sites to enhance enterprise communication and collaboration.


Collaborate with vendors and technical personnel, including Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, Security Officers, Systems Analysts, and Web Developers to establish and maintain a robust SharePoint environment.

Evaluate and recommend products and services to fulfill business requirements.

Research and implement emerging information technology trends, products, and services in support of SharePoint solutions.

Prepare system documentation, training materials, and user manuals.

Conduct training sessions for end-users on SharePoint.


Support the review and analysis of new requests for SharePoint services to provide scope and effort estimates to program and project managers.


Work independently or collaboratively to resolve complex issues, deploy solutions, and assist with client/end-user requirements.


Ensure that deployed solutions adhere to the latest proven practices, are efficiently designed with user experience in mind, and are thoroughly tested after any updates or upgrades.

Provide guidance to clients throughout all phases of projects related to SharePoint development and maintenance.

Maintain consistent and comprehensive documentation of SharePoint guides as necessary.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience, either Military or Civilian Equivalent

Security Clearance Level:
Active TS/SCI clearance

Required Skills and Abilities:
Building, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft technologies and related platforms: SharePoint 2016/2019/Online.

The likely salary range for this position is $81,600 - $110,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
