Job Summary

Geopaq Logic, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing subsurface exploration and laboratory testing programs, supervising subsurface exploration, and conducting geotechnical engineering analyses and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement subsurface exploration and laboratory testing programs to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Supervise subsurface exploration activities to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Conduct physical soil classification and review laboratory results to inform geotechnical engineering analyses and design.
  • Prepare and present geotechnical engineering reports and proposals to stakeholders.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement construction materials testing and inspection projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Registered Florida Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a strong plus but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
