Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team at Vituity. As a Hospitalist Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a hospital setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
