POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated HVAC Technician to execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, along with troubleshooting and servicing of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician will conduct tests and analyze data to ensure optimal equipment performance, offering recommendations as necessary. A strong understanding of control operations and sequences for HVAC systems is essential. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate service and maintenance records and communicate effectively to assess needs. This role requires leadership skills, strong customer relationship management, and teamwork abilities. Availability for overtime and on-call shifts is expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install replacement components according to manufacturer specifications to uphold warranties.
  • Perform HVACR preventive maintenance in line with established standards.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair HVACR issues following EPA standards.
  • Adhere to maintenance schedules for timely equipment upkeep and accurate operational logs.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including timesheets, service reports, and expense logs.
  • Engage in general tasks such as safety training, team meetings, and maintaining tools and vehicles.
  • Be prepared to work overtime during weekdays and/or weekends as required.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent; completion of an HVAC Apprenticeship Program.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
  • Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and a courteous demeanor towards clients.
  • EPA universal refrigeration license; ability to comprehend safety policies and procedural manuals.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and presenting information effectively.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC and electrical systems, with basic mathematical skills and the ability to read blueprints and technical schematics.
