Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at ASTEC. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems and components for our products, including circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and electrical controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other product components.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM) analyses to ensure that electrical systems can be efficiently and cost-effectively manufactured.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to source components and materials, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in product testing and validation, including electrical safety testing and environmental testing.
- Develop and maintain electrical design standards and guidelines, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on product development and design.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis, electronics, and electromagnetism.
- Experience with design tools, including CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions.
