About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team at EDAG, Inc. as an Automotive Wire Harness Expert. This is a unique opportunity to work with a globally leading engineering services provider that combines excellent engineering with the latest technology trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission pre-series vehicles for ID4 (EV) and Atlas (ICB) and analyze errors to ensure buildability and on-time delivery.
  • Evaluate countermeasures to ensure buildability of vehicles and document any EE-related buildability topics.
  • Support Production in EE-related topics for deeper analysis and provide solutions, including documentation.
  • Analyze statistical data to build up documentation for analysis.
  • Work together with relevant departments, such as Development, Logistics, Production, and Quality Assurance.
  • Support the CFT E/E and other CFTs or working groups as needed.
  • Analyze construction changes (AEKO) and deviation permits (AWE), CAD data, drawings, and descriptions for potential electric buildability issues and follow up with relevant departments to solve problems before vehicle build.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with automotive wire harness structure, testing, and assembly process.
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of job-related experience with an automotive background.
  • Good understanding of change management.
