Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to join our team at Sparks Group. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase revenue and market share within the NIH sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including NIH customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our capture and business teams.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, engaging with new customers and fostering ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in federal contracting within the health industry.
  • Strong team player with excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Proven ability to lead business development strategies and contribute to proposals, marketing efforts, and pricing strategies.
  • Established network of clients or contacts within the market.
  • Understanding of competitive landscapes and proven experience in building competitive teams.
