Job Overview

Position Summary:
Trinity Child Development Center is in search of a committed and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Program Support Staff. This position is crucial in providing essential assistance across multiple classrooms.

As a Program Support Staff member, your primary responsibilities will include offering support and stepping in as a substitute teacher for a total of 10 classrooms. This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week, with working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The compensation for this position ranges from $13 to $15 per hour, with payments made biweekly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment conducive to children's learning and development.

  • Comply with all licensing requirements and ensure a tidy and organized classroom setting.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as needed.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a childcare environment.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or a willingness to obtain these certifications.
  • Familiarity with child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively within a team setting.
  • Must successfully pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
