ROLE SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Radiology Technologist performs a range of diagnostic imaging procedures as directed by a licensed physician. This role requires the application of professional judgment to deliver healthcare services utilizing x-ray technology, aiding in the diagnosis or treatment of patients across all age groups, from infants to seniors. The technologist is expected to complete established competencies for the role within the designated introductory period and may undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
Required: Graduate from an accredited Imaging Program. Preferred: Associate degree.

Experience:
No prior experience required.

Certification:
Required: ARRT certification or registry eligibility; must obtain ARRT certification within one year post-graduation; BLS certification and state license if applicable.
