Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist in the daily preparation of food items and ensure proper dating of products.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of stations as directed by management.
  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control when preparing and serving items.
  • Maintain daily temperature logs for food safety compliance.
  • Conduct quality checks by sampling food items before serving.
  • Notify management of any food items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists for workstations.
  • Welcome customers as they approach and depart from the serving line.
  • Solicit feedback on service quality and address any concerns with a positive attitude.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including floors, equipment, and storage.
  • Ensure all work areas and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Responsible for the correct disposal of waste from the service line.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety observations and report any hazards to management promptly.
  • Cross-train in various areas as required.
  • Be prepared to work in concessions, catering, and special events as directed by management.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by your supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Lead and guide team members to ensure timely and effective customer service, requesting assistance for sanitation as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Current ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Prior food service experience is preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport hot food items frequently.
  • Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
