Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist in the daily preparation of food items, ensuring proper dating of products.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of designated stations as instructed by management.
  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control when preparing and serving food items.
  • Maintain daily logs of food temperatures.
  • Conduct quality checks on food items before serving to customers.
  • Notify management and remove any food items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Complete checklists for opening and closing workstations.
  • Welcome customers as they approach and depart from the serving area.
  • Inquire about customer satisfaction and address any concerns while maintaining a friendly attitude.
  • Assist in keeping the work area clean and organized, including floors, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Ensure all utensils and work surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Manage waste disposal from the service line accurately.
  • Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety assessments and report any hazards to management immediately.
  • Cross-train in various areas as required.
  • Be prepared to work in concessions, catering, and special events as directed by management.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by your supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Guide and support team members to ensure efficient and timely service to customers, requesting assistance for sanitation issues as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Current ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Capacity to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Previous food service experience is preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport hot food items frequently.
  • Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and various chemicals.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
